1. Oatmeal

Mix well 6-8 drops of lemon juice, ½ teaspoon oatmeal (coarsely ground) and 1 tablespoon honey, to form a paste. Apply it and let it stay on your face for 15-20 minutes. Gently rub your face for 4-5 minutes against the direction of hair growth. Afterwards, wash off with water. Use it two or three times a week. This scrub not only helps you get rid of undesired hair on your face, but also keeps your skin smooth, hydrated and soft while protecting it against harmful UV rays.

Alternatively, mash 1 ripe banana. Add 1-2 tablespoons of oatmeal to it. Smear the paste on your face and rub in a circular motion for 10-15 minutes. Finally, rinse off with water.

2. Fenugreek

Grind equal quantities of green gram and fenugreek seeds to powder form. Mix both the powders. Add water to prepare a paste. Spread it on your face and let it sit for 15-20 minutes. Rub off the paste with a soft dry cloth. Apart from relieving several health problems, fenugreek also helps remove facial hair.

Wheat bran is good for your health and is also used in various natural cosmetic products. Combine 1 teaspoon rosewater, 1-2 tablespoon wheat bran and 1 tablespoon milk. Smear the resultant grainy scrub on your face. Scrub till the mask dries up and rub in a circular motion. Rinse off with water. Initially, use it daily and then 2-3 times a week. This scrub will reduce the growth of facial hair and confiscate the wrinkles.

Alternatively, mix ¼ teaspoon turmeric, 1 tablespoon fresh milk cream (use curd in place of fresh cream, if your skin is oily), 1 tablespoon gram flour and 1 tablespoon wheat bran, to obtain a paste-like consistency. Apply it on your face. Leave it on for 15-20 minutes. Thereafter, gently rub your face in circular strokes with wet fingers for 2-5 minutes. Rinse off with water. Use it two or three times a week.

5. Orange – Lemon Peel Mask

Vitamin C in lemon and orange peels bleaches your facial hair in a natural way, making them invisible. They help get rid of undesired hair when mixed with some exfoliating agents. Mix together 1 teaspoon each of lemon and orange peel, oatmeal and ground almond. Add 1 teaspoon each of olive oil and rose water to make a paste. Spread on your face. After 5 minutes, gently rub in circular strokes for 5-10 minutes. Rinse off with water. Use this paste on your face two-three times a week.

6. Turmeric – Papaya Paste

Prepare a paste by mixing ½ teaspoon turmeric powder and pulp of a raw papaya. Use this paste to massage your face. After 10-15 minutes of massage, rinse off with water. For positive results, use it at least once a week.

7. Corn Flour and Egg Sugar Paste

Combine 1 teaspoon each of corn flour and sugar with an egg white. Apply the mixture on your face and let it dry. Then peel it off. Repeat it two times a week.

8. Barley

Mix 1 tablespoon barley powder, 1 tablespoon lime juice and 1 tablespoon milk. Apply the resultant paste on your face. After 25-30 minutes, rinse off with lukewarm water. Use it 3-4 times a week.

9. Honey – Apricot Facial Scrub

Grind ½ cup of dry apricots to get a powder. Add honey to it. Smear the mixture on your face. After leaving for 5-10 minutes, scrub in circular strokes with your fingers for 15-20 minutes. Use lukewarm water to rinse it off.

10. Gelatin Peel-off Mask

Mix 1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin, a few drops of lime juice or 1-2 drops of lavender essential oil, and 2-3 tablespoons milk. Microwave the mixture for 15 seconds, but do not overheat. Since gelatin sets very fast, so apply it on your face immediately. Once the mask dries, peel it off. Along with hair, blackheads will also come off.
